What are the Basic Requirements for Admission in a UK University?
The basic requirements for admission in a UK University are-
1. An undergraduate degree with second class honours or better

What are the Eligibility Criteria for a UK Student Visa?
Tier-4 Visa is basically the student Visa. For shorter courses, which last about 6 months there exists the short term study visa. It is valid for 6 months and can be extended to about 11 months.
One can apply for the Tier-4 Visa if:-
1. S/He is 16 years or older
2. The student has an admission letter or proof of their admission
3. The student has basic proficiency in English
4. The student has enough money to pay the fees and the other basic expenses
(The proof can be a bank statement or letter from the financial sponsor also)
The entire visa process is graded and an applicant needs to secure over 40 points.
What are the Documents Required For a UK Student Visa?
1. A copy of the passport
2. Passport size Photograph
3. A ‘Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies’ given by the university
4. Documents verifying Test scores
5. Sometimes, a proof that the student is medically fit
Enrolment:
One can apply for the visa 3 months prior to the start of their course. The visa decision takes about 3 weeks.
After applying, the student has to book an appointment at the visa application center.

Apart from this, a healthcare charge of £150 has to be paid per year to show that the student is medically fit.
Application:
In order to submit the visa application, you will have to visit the UK visa and immigration website. Apart from the basic details about you and your university, your biometric information - photo and fingerprints are also required.
The student has to visit the UK Embassy and submit the application and biometric information. You will have to attend a visa interview during the application process.
The student will have to show a reference number called the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) which is given by the University. The CAS is required for application and the student has to apply within 6 months of receiving the CAS.
NHS (NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE):-
All international students need to pay the health insurance every year. What this does is that a student gets the health benefits in UK similar as that of a permanent resident.
The student will get free medical treatment and free consultation from a doctor (apart from optical and dental care) if needed while he/she is a Visa holder.
Working as a Student:-
As a Tier-4 Visa holder, you can work for upto 20 hours a week during your studies.
